Each Year, The Avon Chamber provides the business community with the opportunity to upgrade their skills. These Provincially Certified Courses range in topics from Accounting to Microsoft Office, to Business Leadership, to Digital Marketing and a host of other topics.
Courses are chosen based on the needs of our members. Our training is designed to increase productivity and growth in the business community.
Financial Fundamentals: Level 2 - FREE Accredited Course
Financial Fundamentals (Level 2) builds on the foundation of Level 1 and takes you deeper into analyzing financial statements, understanding business structures, and planning for growth and sustainability. In this program, you’ll learn to create and analyze balance sheets, manage assets and inventory, develop cash flow projections, and prepare strong proposals for lenders, so you can make more strategic decisions and strengthen the financial foundation of your business. This program is designed for participants for completed Fundamentals Level 1 and are ready to advance their financial knowledge and planning skills.

Professional Sales Training Program - FREE Accredited Course
The Professional Sales program focuses on the sales component of the overall marketing strategy. Participants begin by identifying the key components of the sales cycle and learn how to craft probing questions that align with their company’s specific products and services while strengthening a growth oriented sales mindset. They then build skills in anticipating and overcoming objections as well as confirming the sale in a confident and professional manner.
