Avon Chamber Staff
The Avon Chamber of Commerce employs a part-time Coordinator responsible for ensuring that the membership database is effectively maintained, that all member correspondence is completed in a timely fashion, and that appropriate welcome information is made available to new members. Staff is available to assist Board Members, Committee Chairpersons, and members. They are under the direct authority of the Board of Directors.

Expectations
The Board of Directors acts as the governing body of the Chamber and provides vision and strategic direction of the organization while ensuring implementation of approved strategic action plans. It meets approximately 12 times per year, usually on the second Thursday of every month. It is responsible for the control of Chamber property, its finances and business affairs, as well as being the final decision point for the formal adoption of governance and policy.
